Description:
This waterfall is very nice, except for the fact that it has the unique property of being situated BETWEEN the lanes of Interstate 90! The eastbound traffic is on the other side of the trailhead, while the westbound lanes are built on a viaduct almost immediately above the river. Fortunately, you can't hear the traffic. Best time to see this waterfall is during the summer, simply because the air is hot, and if you visit these falls, you will probably not stay dry. However, everybody knows this, and they flock to the falls like mice to cheese, so if you want a little privacy, come in the spring on a weekday. You might get wetter, but there will less people.
Directions:
Drive east on I-90 to the signed Denny Creek Campground Exit, about 4 miles west of Snoqualmie Pass. Follow the signs to Denny Creek Campground and continue past the campground for either .4 or 1 mile to two intersection of the trail and the road (one is the actual trail, one is a spur). The falls are about .6 mile or .2 mile respectively from the road. Alternatively, you can park at Denny Creek trailhead and hike about 1.25 miles upstream to the falls.
