Description:
This trail is an abandoned railroad grade from the Milwaukee Road, (Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul and Pacific). The wide gravel trail follows the Cedar River all the way to Renton, crossing it several times on existing steel railroad bridges.
Directions:
The trail is near Maple Valley, Hobart, and Ravensdale. Near the intersection of SE 253rd St and Landsburg Rd SE.
The trailhead is a gravel parking area on the west side of 276th Ave SE (Landsburg Rd. SE) where the road crosses the Cedar River. Cedar Grove Park is across the road (east). Parking might be tight because there is a kayak course on the river at this location.
